A young mostly gray tortoishell padded out of the shadows and into the sandy hollow. She looked up to the sky, breathing in the sweet scent of the surrounding land. She had been deputy of ThunderClan for a few days now. She had recently become the mentor of her apprentice, Eaglepaw. Eaglepaw was one of the few apprentices of Thunderclan. The scent of Icestar drifted to her nose. The leader of a clan far from here, she had lost her seventh life the day Echomist had left. The white she-cat must have died, Echomist concluded, as she saw the obvious signs of Starclan. She had a strange connection to Starclan, more than the leader, Wolfstar, sometimes. Echomist turned from the sky, imagining her apprentice. She saw resemblance in the cub to a cat she had met, long ago, in Rainclan. This cat was an evil cat, and he had taken one of his mother’s, Icestar’s, lives. The soft fur of Icestar wrapped around Echomist and she sighed in the smells of her old home. She had left because she could not bear living in such a wet area.

Eaglepaw streched his short limbs, walking around the camp until he exited the ThunderClan camp. Yawning, he flicered his tial and followed his mentor's scent trail. He licked his lips, taking off the last traces of fresh kill, and quickened his pace. He was at the Sandy Hallow now. Giving a soft mrrow of greeting, the tom-cat padded up to Echomist and blinked his deep blue eyes at the older cat. She seemed deep in thought.

Echomist had scented her apprentice and knew he had come into the clearing. She sighed and turned to him, hearing his greeting meow. She nodded her head in greeting then rose to her paws. “It’s good you came. Would you like to train? It would be training to fight clans. Maybe another of the mentors and their apprentices would like to train with us.”

Eaglepaw nodded at the mention of fight training. He may be one of the smallest appretnices, but he knew he was pretty darn good at fighting! He fought constantly in his dreams most nights, with this one cat that mentored him through sleeping. Eaglepaw wonded if where the cat was was StarClan, becuase it sure didn't look like a place that had a lot of stars. "Yeah. Let's fighg!"

“Ok, Eaglepaw, lets begin. I’ll pretend to be a Shadowclan warrior. You try to defend.” Echomist slid into a crouch; imitating a Shadowclan warrior she had secretly been watching when it was attacking a rouge cat. She stalked forward and quickly slid around Eaglepaw as he unexpectedly leaped forward. “Remember, Defense, not offense.” A smirk slid across her face as she watched her apprentice.

ooc: he didn't leap forwards. that's powerplaying. you can't control my character. Eaglepaw crouched low to the ground, ready tp spring forwards to evade an attack. He knew how ShadowClan fought, for the cat that came to him taught him the movements of all the Clans. He wondered if every cat got two mentors, but he had been told never to mention the meeting. He spun around, keeping time with his mentor's movments and always keeping his eyes on her. "Don't worry, I got this!"

ooc: ok, he didnt.
Echomist dashes forward, twisting above him and sliding underneath him, scraping him with unsheathed claws. She slips back up, without being hit and pads in front of him. "Now you try." No one knew it, but she was taught by the second mentor Eaglepaw had. She grinned.
ooc: and no thats not godmoding

Eaglepaw easily doged his mentor, but her paw caught his leg and unbalenced him. Hissing, he whipped around and slashed at her muzzle before ducking his head and ramming up towards her stomach, hoping ot unbalence her.
ooc; uh, his 2nd mentor is tigerstar becuase he is, like, his great-great-great grandson sooo xD

Echomist staggers slightly and sits down. “That was impressive. Try to knock my paws out from under me.” Echomist suddenly stops, seeing someone in the brush stalking towards the camp. Shadowclan! “Never mind that, Eaglepaw, run to camp, quickly now! Tell them there are intruders!”
Ooc: go to the Brokenbone rp in the camp. Echo’s mentors were other cats, forgot their names though.

Echomist ran heavily at the intruder as her apprentice ran to the camp. She leaped onto the intruder and tried to overpower her, and leaped off after scratching the intruder.
"Rainfeather! What are you doing in our territorry!" The she-cat's fur was on end as she waited for Rainfeather's reply.
The scent of Icestar returned to Echomists nose and she looked up. The ghostly cat leaped over their heads and onto Rainfeather, pushing her over...
(ooc: yeah, yeah, I know, sorta powerplay, but if ppl are only controlling their characters, nothing would happen! No battles would be won or lost. And Icestar is dead, so... she's sorta more powerful than a live cat, eh?)

(ooc: what doubleposting? *evilgrin*)
Brokenbone leaps out of the brush into the clearing, with Eaglepaw and Wolfstar not too far behind. He relaxes as he sees his kin, and he cocks his head. "'Ello, Rainfeather."

Eaglepaw, staggering with near exhaustion, trembled as he stood next to the warrior. Fear was not present, but a tiredness that traveled to his bones was. His ice blue eyes widened as Brokenbone addressed the cat calmly.

ooc: um i konw what your trying to say Echomist, but technically I call that powerplay cause you played my cat without asking me. And battles could be lost even though everyone plays their own character.
Rainfeather opened her mouth to talk, but she felt nervous. She had come to find Wolfstar, but she knew she had to abandond her plans. She had already encountered Thunderclan members. Rainfeather knew she ahd to make something up fast."Um-ah-uh..." Rainfeather studdered and slightly blushed. Then, slowly backing off, ran off and hid some bushes not so far away.
