Clan-A group of cats who live together, hunt for the others in the Clan and protect each other against any attacks by other Clans.
Leader-A cat with nine lives given by StarClan and who leads the Clan.
Deputy- The cat that is second in charge. If the leader dies, they become leader. If the deputy dies, the new one must be named by moonhigh.
Medicine cat-A cat with special healing powers given by StarClan and is in charge of the Clan's health.
Warrior-A cat who serves a Clan in things like hunting, patrols and fighting other threats like rival Clan cats or rogues.
Apprentice-A young kitten just grown out of kittenhood and he/she is assigned a warrior as a mentor.
Kit-A baby cat/kitten.
Queen-A pregnant she cat/female cat.
Tom-A male cat.
Rogue-A cat that is not in a Clan, but steals prey from Clan territories and hates Clan cats. These rogues often gang up in a group to attack Clan cats.
Loner-A cat that is not in a Clan or in a group of rogues. They usually live alone and hunt prey for themselves.
Kittypet-A house cat.
Twolegs-Humans.
StarClan-When a Clan cat dies, its spirit will go to this heavenly Clan to live with the spirits of the other warriors who have already died. They are the ones who will grant medicine cats their healing powers and give leaders their nine lives.
Silverpelt-The band of stars that can be seen at night. Each star is believed to represent a single spirit of a warrior in StarClan.
Gathering-This event occurs once night when the moon is full. The four Clans will come together in peace and meet at Fourtrees to share their news and get to know each other.
Moonstone-A shining stone in a cave. Leaders and medicine cats come to sleep next to it to get special dreams and their healing powers or nine lives from StarClan, or to seek advice from StarClan.
Thunderpath- A road. Monsters (cars) travel on Thunderpaths and they are very dangerous.
Fresh-kill- Freshly killed prey.
Crowfood- Nasty food.
Leaf-bare, Leaf-fall, New-leaf, and Green-leaf- Winter, fall, spring, and summer
